Our Story
NECCR began with a simple goal in mind: to create the best multi-therapeutic clinical research site in the nation. We’ve grown a lot since our humble beginnings, but that mission has remained the same.
Embedded within a Physician owned multi-disciplinary private network, our organization is comprised of 10 specialized centers each with their own area of focus.
Each center is equipped with expert researchers, dedicated support staff. including experienced research coordinators, dedicated patient recruitment staff, information technology department and regulatory specialists. From site feasibility questionnaire to close out visit, Our dedicated team will work tirelessly to meet and exceed all expectations.
In 2026, we formed a partnership with Prima CARE and Bioskills of the Northeast to offer an even broader spectrum of clinical research, from medical device evaluation and physician training, to Phase I–IV pharmaceutical trials. Most significantly, the expanded facility provides the infrastructure needed for Phase I studies requiring extended on-site stays. Offering continuous monitoring, meals, and around-the-clock clinical support.
What began as a new approach, has evolved into something unique in New England. A single integrated destination, purpose built to support medical innovation. From pharmaceuticals, to medical devices, we are truly a Center for Medical Innovation.
Founder's Statement
Over 3 decades ago, when we founded the New England Center for Clinical Research (NECCR), we saw a critical need to bridge a gap in the clinical trial landscape. Sponsors needed the agility of an independent site, while patients needed the reach and trust of an integrated healthcare network.
We built NECCR to provide exactly that. By combining world-class clinical expertise across diverse therapeutic areas with our cutting-edge Population Intelligence Platform, we are accelerating the pace of medical innovation. Our partnerships with Prima CARE, BioSkills of the Northeast, and Santovia Path AI allow us to execute Phase I-IV trials with unparalleled precision and smarter patient recruitment.
