Last updated: November 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Blocsinc LLC (“Blocsinc,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit blocsinc.io, including any subpages and preview sites (the “Site”), contact us, subscribe to our emails, or work with us.

We are a business-to-business marketing agency. We keep the personal information we collect limited to what we need to run our Site, respond to inquiries, and deliver our services.

If you have questions, email info@blocsinc.io.

1. Information We Collect

  • Email and newsletter sign-ups: email address, name, and your subscription preferences.

  • Client engagements: business contact details, billing contact information, and materials you share with us to perform services.
  • Job or contractor applications: résumé, portfolio, and contact details, if you apply to work with us.

Please do not send us sensitive information (such as health information, government ID numbers, or financial account numbers) through the Site.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring URL, time on page, and approximate location (city or region, derived from IP address).
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy for details.
  • Email engagement data: whether you opened our emails or clicked links in them.
Information from other sources

We may receive business contact information from publicly available sources (such as company websites or professional networks like LinkedIn), event organizers, referral partners, or our clients, where they are permitted to share it.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and provide proposals;
  • provide, manage, and improve our services and communicate with clients;
  • send newsletters, insights, and marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site;
  • invoice, collect payment, and keep business records;
  • evaluate job or contractor applications;
  • protect against fraud, spam, abuse, and security threats; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers (processors): companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting and content management (for example, [HOSTING PROVIDER] and WordPress), form and email tools ([EMAIL/CRM PROVIDER]), analytics ([ANALYTICS PROVIDER, e.g., Google Analytics]), scheduling, cloud storage, accounting, and payment processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Subcontractors: trusted contractors who help deliver client work, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Advertising and social platforms: if we use advertising or social media pixels on the Site, those platforms may receive device and usage data. See the Cookie Policy and Section 8 for your choices.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Blocsinc, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent: for example, when you approve a testimonial or case study.
4. Client Data We Process for Clients

When we work on campaigns, websites, or other projects, a client may give us access to personal information about its own customers or prospects. In that case we process that information on behalf of and under the instructions of our client, which is responsible for its own privacy notices and legal basis. If you have questions about how a Blocsinc client uses your information, please contact that client directly.

5. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, tax, accounting, and contract requirements. As a general guide:

  • inquiries that do not become engagements: up to [24] months after last contact;
  • newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe (we keep a record of the opt-out so we honor it);
  • client and billing records: for the length of the relationship plus up to [7] years;
  • analytics data: according to our analytics provider’s retention settings, generally [14] months or less.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

6. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and limiting access to people who need it. As a Massachusetts business, we aim to maintain safeguards consistent with Massachusetts data security regulations (201 CMR 17.00), and we will provide notice of a security breach as required by law, including Massachusetts General Laws chapter 93H.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

All visitors can:

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email or by emailing info@blocsinc.io. We may still send non-marketing messages about an active engagement.
  • Manage cookies using the cookie banner/settings on our Site or your browser settings (see the Cookie Policy).
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing info@blocsinc.io.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, described below. We will respond to requests within the time required by applicable law (generally within 30–45 days). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may deny requests where the law allows (for example, if we must keep information for legal reasons). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

You may use an authorized agent to make a request where the law allows; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority.

8. Notice to U.S. State Residents (Including California)

Several U.S. states, including California (under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act), give residents specific privacy rights. Some of these laws apply only to businesses that meet certain size or revenue thresholds. Whether or not those laws apply to us, we want to be transparent:

Categories of personal information we collect (described in Section 1): identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); professional or employment information (company, title); internet or network activity (browsing and usage data); approximate geolocation; commercial information (records of services purchased); and inferences drawn from your interactions with our Site. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site.

Sources, purposes, and recipients: described in Sections 1, 2, and 3.

“Selling” and “sharing”: We do not sell personal information for money. If we use advertising cookies or pixels, that may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or “targeted advertising” under some state laws. You can opt out by using the cookie settings on our Site, emailing info@blocsinc.io with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share,” or using a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we treat as an opt-out request for that browser where required by law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Your rights (where applicable law gives them): to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to access a copy; to correct inaccurate information; to delete it; to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; and to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it for purposes that would trigger this right). To make a request, email info@blocsinc.io with the subject “Privacy Request.” If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy Appeal.”

Retention: described in Section 5.

9. Visitors from the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland

Our business is based in the United States. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the following applies:

  • Legal bases: we process personal information to perform a contract or take steps at your request before a contract (e.g., replying to an inquiry); based on our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business and securing our Site (balanced against your rights); based on your consent (e.g., non-essential cookies and certain marketing emails), which you may withdraw at any time; and to comply with legal obligations.
  • Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection (including to direct marketing), data portability, and withdrawal of consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
  • International transfers: your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or a provider’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
10. Children's Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). If you believe a child has given us personal information, email info@blocsinc.io and we will delete it.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 8.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to other websites and platforms (for example, client sites, LinkedIn, or YouTube). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as a notice on the Site or by email where appropriate.
